Instructional Design and e-Learning

I have undertaken Masters-level studies in Instructional Systems Technology, and have a solid background in pedagogical theory and instructional design. In addition to preparing instructional graphics and interactive media, I have designed and written training courses from the ground up, and worked with academics at university level on large projects rewriting and restructuring entire degree programmes.

I have experience with various learning management systems and have trained academics in the effective use of these systems to manage distance learning programmes (e-learning). I have had particular success with breaking large courses down into digestible modules, improving learning objectives and matching these to appropriate assessment types for measurable results. In the corporate world I have designed and led many professional training sessions, including presenting to large audiences.
