Event Coordination

I have coordinated a number of events, both large and small — from film festivals and awards ceremonies to a presence at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona in 2011. With this I was responsible for all floorspace bookings, stand design, build and transportation, travel arrangements, displays, printed material and giveaways. It involved careful coordination with designers, stand suppliers, printers, the host organisation and various other third parties beginning months in advance.

My film festival work has involved both technical and logistic considerations — booking of content (16mm and 35mm films), scheduling, planning make-up, break-down and transport between screens, rostering of staff, and communication between filmmakers and festival hosts.

In all of my event coordination work I draw upon my strong communication skills, attention to detail as well as knowledge of graphics, writing and relevant technologies.
